Happy Mother's Day!

To all of the mothers of these amazing missionaries we would like to express our deepest gratitude for raising such faithful warriors! We know many of these great Elders and Sisters are here because they "did not doubt (their) mothers knew it" (Alma 56:48)!
We so hope that you have uplifting conversations with your sons and daughters!
Love,
President and Sister Porter

We are anxiously awaiting our son's phone call home. We have been counting the days since Christmas!

Thank you for the Mother's Day message. We have sent our very best to serve the Lord.

Thank you for watching over them. Much love, Mum DuMont

Talking to Elder Sevey was delightful! He loves his mission, the people of NZ, his companions, the beautiful scenery, and his dedicated leaders. He bore solemn Testimony of Christ and his divinity. Thanks for the note.

Elder DuMont called home earlier than we expected. He pretended to be his brother who needed a ride home.( their voices are nearly identical) I fell for it and imagined car repair costs etc then I heard laughter... "Sammy!!! is that you?"

What a fun start to our conversation. We enjoyed every minute. He shared Proverbe 31 about Virtous woman and likend it to his mum. So sweet. Thanks Porters for the blog. We heart you. Mum DuMont

Happy Mother's day to you too. Did you ever think you would have so many "sons and daughters". Thanks for taking care of my son. It was great to hear his testimony and feel of his love for his mission. He thought he would "trick" us into thinking he was not allowed to call home. Ask him about it when you get the chance. Thanks for your blog.
Love, Stephanie Stucki

Thank you very much for the Mothers Day Message. I was so worried that he might call us while we were in church. I just found out about this blog when my daugter said that she logged into New Zealand Mission.
My son Elder Ioasa loves every bit of New Zealand and bore his testimony of how much he loves the Lords work and is trying with all his might in preaching the work of the Lord.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for watching over him. We love all of you very much and God Bless.
